Community terms
KAUST Rides is a community notice board run by KAUST community members for KAUST community members. It is not a transport service, does not provide drivers or vehicles, and does not take payment.
- Posts are offers to share a private journey or a request to join one. Any sharing of travel costs such as fuel and tolls, or splitting a taxi, is agreed privately between the people travelling and is cost sharing, not a fare.
- You are responsible for your own safety and your own vehicle, insurance, and licence. Check who you are travelling with before you go.
- Respect the gender setting on every post. Reports of misuse lead to removal.
- Your KAUST email, gender, and WhatsApp number are used only to run the board. Your number is shown only to the other party of a confirmed trip.
- Be reliable. If your plans change, cancel or withdraw as early as you can so others can rearrange.
